ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ hosts 10th annual special education field day for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ County students

For the 10th year in a row, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ hosted special education field day for ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ County students on May 1.

Students from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ County schools throughout the district gathered at Gene Murphy Field at Joe Renfroe Stadium on the Raymond Campus for a series of fun and games that included popcorn, snow cones and a sack lunch as a way to end the school year.

ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ employees and students volunteered to help with the games. The highlight of the annual event is the wheel chair race. ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students and employees pushed students in jogging chairs on the track.
