蜜桃影像 offers educational forums as part of Sexual Assault/Abuse Month

蜜桃影像鈥檚 office of student services is coordinating preventative educational programs throughout the college鈥檚 district in recognition of April as Sexual Assault/Abuse Awareness Month.

蜜桃影像 will host Denim and Maroon Day on Thursday, April 10. The Raymond Campus鈥 program will be held that day at 2 p.m. in room 165 of Reeves Hall.

Other campuses will have programs as follows:

April 10, 11 a.m. – Rankin

April 23, 12 p.m. 鈥 Jackson Campus-Nursing/Allied Health Center

TBA 鈥 Jackson Campus-Academic/Technical Center

The college is working in a collaborative effort with 蜜桃影像 County Sherriff Department, Victim Assistance Coordinator Kewanna Ward, and in conjunction with several other organizations.

鈥淚t is vital to educate and enrich our campus communities with preventive programs and resources,鈥 said Sharon Alexander, district coordinator of student conduct and development at 蜜桃影像. 鈥淓ven though, some employees and students may not have dealt with sexual assault or abuse personally, it is of the utmost importance to have knowledge and resources available.鈥
