Bekah King is a 2013 graduate of Pearl High School. ÌýShe earned a Masters Degree in Education from Delta State University. Bekah lives in Pearl with her husband Brandon and their two golden doodles. A lifelong dancer, Bekah started in competitive dance at a young age. She has traveled and performed internationally with the Mississippi All-State Lions Band as a dancer and member of the color guard. ÌýShe competed all over the country as a Phantomette with Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp. ÌýBekah also served as Captain of the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ Hi-Steppers while at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. She was color guard instructor at Pearl High School before coming to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ in 2022 as Color Guard Director.Ìý

Bekah is so happy to be at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ now Full-Time. Ìý“It was such a hard decision to leave my second grade classroom after 6 years. I feel such a strong connection to ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ and I truly believe in helping young people reach their career goals through Community College. I am so excited to be a part of this AMAZING Band Staff and ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ family. I look forward to the future of the Hi-Steppers and Color Guard.â€
