While you’re at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, you can earn scholarship money from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ! Students enrolled in the Honors Program will earn $150 per semester, and this is in addition to other scholarships at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Students must earn an A or B grade in their Honors course and Honors Forum, and the scholarship is applied at the end of each semester.
Honors class + Honors Forum = $150 scholarship
Each additional Honors class = $50
Each Honors lab = $25
Maximum award = $300
When you finish your time in the Honors Program, you can graduate from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ decorated in regalia which will make you stand out on stage!
Honors Scholar graduates will have completed the following requirements:
Minimum 3.25 cumulative GPA on all courses
At least 12 hours of Honors courses completed with an A or B grade
At least two Honors Forum courses completed with an A or B grade
Honors Scholar Graduates
Honors Scholar graduates will be adorned with purple cords during graduation ceremonies, and “Honors Scholar” will be designated on their ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ transcripts.
Distinguished Honors Scholar Graduates
Distinguished Honors Scholar graduates will have completed the following requirements:
Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA on all courses
At least 18 hours of Honors courses completed with an A or B grade
At least three Honors Forum courses completed with an A or B grade
At least two leadership courses completed with an A or B grade
Distinguished Honors Scholar graduates will be adorned with purple cords and a medallion during graduation ceremonies, and “Distinguished Honors Scholar” will be designated on their ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ transcripts.
